A commemorative bench for the Bard

A commemorative bench for the Bard

On May 25th 2016 we delivered a specially commissioned bench to the new garden in Stratford on Avon. The garden is adjoining the house where William Shakespeare lived all those years ago and is due to be opened in July 2016.

Next to the bench is a listening post and the hand carved inscription has an appropriate quotation (Let the garden doors be shut,  and leave me to my hearing) Twelfth Night, or What you will, Act 3 scene 1.
